Turkey Breakfast Sausage

gluten free, sugar free, yeast free

Ingredients:

1 pound ground turkey

3/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground sage

2 tablespoons onion flakes

1 tablespoon of Truvia or powdered stevia

pepper to taste

Preparation: 

Put ground turkey in pan, add salt, ground sage, Truvia or powdered stevia, pepper cook until done.  Use as a side dish or place cooked turkey inside omelettes.

Creamy sausage:  Add a block of cream cheese to the cooked ground turkey. Delicious!

Sausage patties:  Mix raw turkey with salt, ground sage and pepper.  Use a fork or a food processor mix the ingredients.  Shape into 6 thin patties or several links. Fry or bake until browned.

You can freeze the sausages, either raw or cooked, for future fast breakfasts.
