gluten free, sugar free yeast free
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 small sweet onion, diced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
4 cloves of garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ground cumin
30 drops of liquid stevia (we like Nu Stevia brand)
1/2 teaspoon paprika
5 apples cored, blended
8 bacon strips, cooked and blended
Preparation:
Heat oil in sauce pan and sauté onion for 3 to 4 minutes until translucent. Core apples, cook bacon, put together in blender with all remaining ingredients. Put mixture back into saucepan and bring to a boil. You can serve it just like this but I like to boil it down to thicken it a while. I turn down the heat, cover the pan and let it simmer for 20 minutes or so. I also find a longer cooking time brings out the flavors, and it turns out even more delicious.
