gluten free, sugar free, yeast free
Ingredients:
2 pounds ground turkey
2 – 16 ounce cans diced tomatoes
2 – 15 ounce cans red kidney beans or black beans, drained
1 – 8 ounce can tomato sauce
1/2 cup chopped onion
4 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
1 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
1 teaspoon oregano, crushed
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 – 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper
Preparation:
In a 4 quart Dutch oven cook the ground turkey until it is no longer pink. Drain off fat. Stir in undrained diced tomatoes, drained kidney or black beans and remaining ingredients. Simmer uncovered for 45 minutes. Or cook ground turkey drain and add to crock pot, mix in rest of ingredients and cook on high for 4-5 hours. Serves 8 – 10
