Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. -Philippians 4:6,7
OFTEN, IT IS so easy for us to let our circumstances get the best of us. We see a situation that we are in and immediately become discouraged because WE do not know what to do. Doubt begins to slip into our minds. “How am I going to get through this?” “I have no idea where to go.” We know in our hearts that God is faithful. We know that He will take care of it, so why are we facing this wall of fear?
What we are missing is that we are magnifying the problem, not truly believing our God will take care of it. We are acting like a wave of the sea. Blown and tossed by the “wind”, or the circumstances we are facing, not standing on the truth that our God NEVER fails us, and nothing is too big for our God! This situation you may be in is easy in the eyes of the Lord. Ask Him for the wisdom and strength you need, and have the faith that He has heard you and will help you. We can only find the peace and rest we long for in Him.

God, I thank you that You are our rock and our strength. I pray that You will help us to see Your hand working in every situation and be reminded that nothing is impossible for you. Father, I thank you for the peace we find when we surrender our circumstances. Help us to not waver in our faith, but always turn to you first.
